With over 15 years of experience in the IT sector, I specialize in building strong client relationships and aligning technology solutions with business objectives. Having spent the last decade focused on the automotive and electromobility industries, I bring a wealth of expertise in delivering tailored solutions for both the public and private sectors. Our DLM solution monitors the total available power at a site in real-time and distributes it dynamically across active EV chargers. It utilizes Peak Shaving algorithms to ensure the total load never exceeds the Grid Connection Capacity, preventing fuse blowouts. This maximizes the number of simultaneous charging sessions without requiring expensive physical grid reinforcement.

We offer a hybrid approach supporting both. Cloud-based DLM (via OCPP Smart Charging Profiles) is ideal for Demand Resposne managed charging or centralized fleet management. Local DLM utilizes an on-site controller (Edge computing) to ensure load balancing continues even during internet outages, providing sub-second response times critical for sites with limited power headroom.

Yes. Our software integrates seamlessly with existing BEMS and renewable sources like Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). We utilize protocols like Modbus TCP/RTU to read real-time data from external meters and inverters. This allows for “Eco-Charging” modes, where EVs are charged primarily using excess solar production (Self-consumption optimization).

Yes, our logic supports sophisticated prioritization rules. You can assign VIP status to specific users or charger groups. Additionally, we support Scheduled Charging and Departure Time optimization, ensuring that high-priority fleet vehicles reach their required State of Charge (SoC) first, while lower-priority vehicles charge when capacity becomes available.

DLM significantly lowers CAPEX by removing the need for costly utility grid upgrades and new transformers. By artificially capping the load via software, you can install more charge points on an existing fuse. It also reduces OPEX by mitigating Peak Demand Charges from utility providers, ensuring the site stays within its contracted power tariff limits.
